Top of Tower in Restoration
This tower was located at Smedley Street, just east of the museum location. This tower housed the crossing guard that controlled the crossing gates (cranked by hand) for either side of the station for both the LS&MS/NYC and the NKP tracks. It has been reported by people that this tower may have been the last like it between Buffalo and Chicago. A few things need done to the tower, and the top will be placed back on the base.
