Shelley H. General What a catch! I would be speechless if I saw that in person! 4/18/2008 7:44:05 PM
Sam Davey General maybe im understanding this wrong. but 16 axels online would only be like 2 dash nines and a geep. you see more power than that online in almost every train you see. i know that most of these are DIT but if you went by that 16 axel rule only 2 engines would be online to pull 10 dead loci's and a train. like i said maybe im understanding this wrong. 4/21/2008 9:02:44 PM
Mike Rapchak Jr. General Look at all the exhaust fumes/heat waves. Looks like they're all running to me. This beats my CSX-UP 10-pack (Gary & East Chicago, 7/01/07) by two! :) 5/11/2008 6:41:51 PM
Harold Beaudry General WTH How long was the train ? 5/22/2008 4:31:17 PM
Joe Usselman General Holy....! 5/23/2008 10:20:51 PM
Kyle Yunker General The most I ever seen at once on a train is 11 in Austell,GA. And all the engines were BNSF which was a treat. Bluebonnets, warbonnets, pumpkins all mixed up. It was great. Except for the fact that I didn't have my camera with me. 6/4/2008 2:47:29 AM
Ted Marshall General Absolutely spectacular photograph!!! Perfectly composed and framed. Very well done!!! 6/10/2008 12:47:03 PM
Shelley H. General Love it! 6/10/2008 11:35:39 PM
Howard Biby General The 9th one back is a Warbonnet.... Santa Fe all the way! 6/14/2008 9:04:01 AM
Al Snyder General In response to the comment about FRA and 16 axles: I'm an engineer for CSX, and we're allowed 24 powered axles on the head of a train, but I don't think this rule has anything to do with FRA. Any other units in a consist must be either shut down, or 'isolated' so they are not producing tractive effort. 7/28/2008 4:28:40 PM
David Hereford General Superb photo! I think the 6th one back is also a Warbonnet. 7/30/2008 5:00:40 PM
