Description:  Skeets Towing Service has moved the Virginia-Carolina 50s tender under the pavilion, and now prepares to move the locomotive. The locomotive was towed in with the driver wheels remaining motionless; the locomotive dragged on the rails with the help of LOTS of liquid soap.

Description:  Moving crews and volunteers from the Alexander Chapter NRHS/Southeastern Narrow Gauge & Shortline Museum set Southern Railway caboose X2715 on a set of trucks. The car was moved that day from Fort Mill, SC where it had resided for several decades. It is on display and under restoration there under the Museums Alexander Railroad Pavilion.
