Allen. Here is an original photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Logansport, Indiana, on 14 July 1956. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #1743, an H-9S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an H-8B during December of 1910, rebuilt in Juniata as an H-9S in June of 1923, and retired in November of 1957 after 47 years of faithful service. |
