Description:  Mid-Mountain. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train West of Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 20 June 1964. Shown here (R to L) are PRR engines #7014, #7245, #7249, #7126, and #7217. All are EFS-17M's built by EMD and rated at 1,750 horsepower each. #7014 was built in 1955; #7245 and #7249 were built in 1959; #7126 and #7217 were built in 1957. They are pulling a 116-car eastbound coal train with caboose #477027.

Description:  Winter. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 03 January 1965. Shown here (R to L) are PRR engines #2288, #2270, and #7014. All were built by EMD. #2288 and #2270 were built in 1964 and rated at 2,500 horsepower each. #7014 is an EFS-17M built in 1955 and rated at 1,750 horsepower. They are about to pass under the 7th Street Bridge with a 40-car eastbound TrucTrain and N-8 caboose #478121.
