Volkmer. Here is an image of a photo by William D. Volkmer that was taken in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 25 June 1958. Parked in the East Altoona Locomotive Ready Tracks (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #2015 and #9711. Both are BF-16's built by Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton and rated at 1,600 horsepower each. #2015 was constructed in February of 1952 and retired in January of 1967, while #9711 was built in December of 1950 and retired in July of 1966. Volkmer. Here is an image of a photo by William D. Volkmer that was taken in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 25 June 1958. Both are BF-16's built by Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton and rated at 1,600 horsepower each. #9711 was constructed in December of 1950 and retired in July of 1966, while #2015 was built in February of 1952 and retired in January of 1967. Partially visible at the left is PRR engine #9854, an EFP-15 built by GM-EMD in June of 1952 and rated at 1,500 horsepower. William E. Burket Collection.

Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide showing (R to L) Pennsylvania Railroad engines #9450 and #2015. #9450 is an FF-16 built by Fairbanks-Morse in September of 1950, rated at 1,600 horsepower, and retired in April of 1965. #2015 is a BF-16 constructed by Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton in February of 1952, rated at 1,600 horsepower, and retired in January of 1967.
