Here is Union Pacific 4-8-2 #7865 double-heading a freight train near the Cajon Pass. This is one of the last group of Alco-Brooks 4-8-2 mountain type steam locomotives built for the Union Pacific. UP #7865 was leased to the LA&SL subsidiary and served until retirement in December of 1956.
