PRR 9663, EF-15A, 1965 |
Description: |
Spruce Creek. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train in Spruce Creek, Pennsylvania, on 10 July 1965. Shown here is PRR engine #9663 and six other units whose numbers are not visible. #9663 is an EF-15A built by GM-EMD in February of 1950 and rated at 1,500 horsepower. They are pulling a 93-car westbound mixed-cargo freight train with N-8 cabin car #478158. Looks like "Millie" likes to watch trains, too! |
