Price. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Bill Price that was taken near Duncannon, Pennsylvania, on 10 October 1956. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6899, an M-1 (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during October of 1926 and retired in June of 1959 after 33 years of faithful service. In this context, it's rockin' 'n' rollin' with a fully-loaded mineral train. |
