Title:  BO 2-6-6-2 #7527 - Baltimore & Ohio
Description:  The massive Baltimore & Ohio 2-6-6-2 "Mallet Mogul" type steam locomotive #7527 was built by Alco-Brooks in May of 1918 originally as Buffalo, Rochester & Pittsburgh #727 (serial #58480). After being absorbed into the B&O roster, it was renumbered B&O #7527 as seen in this photo. The loco was especially built for slow drags of long strings of coal cars and performed well doing so. After 32 years of service, the loco was finally retired and scrapped in 1950. Specs = 57" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 23.5x32 and 37x32" cylinders, engine weight of 437,000 lb, tractive effort of 80,000 lb. No photographer or exact date in 1948 was given for the photo.
