Title:  Morning on the hill
Description:  Mid morning was usually a good bet to catch 413 heading north. I was driving for Broome Transit at the time, and usually did a three hour morning shift with a split in the middle of the day. The happy result was that I often could catch 413, and sometimes 168, going north. Today was one of those days, with a 42 car train at Depot Hill Rd. Today we have a surprise, an ex CN GP 40 widecab going back to Pan Am.

Description:  This westbound on the Cherokee Sub. was my 2nd Heritege III Unit, the other "Swoosh" I saw was in the middle of the consist. I was glad to catch one leading on home rails! If that weren't good enough, this was as far west it had ever been at the time, as it was brand new on its first trip on BNSF Railway!
