Title: |
CO 4-8-4 #600 - Chesapeake & Ohio |
Description: |
Looking very much like a builder's photo, this beautifully detailed scale model is based on the actual Lima built 4-8-4, called a "Greenbrier" rather than the traditional "Northern-type" locomotive, which was delivered to the C&O in 1935. These were among the largest 4-8-4s built. #600 is name "The George Washington" for the passenger train these locos would head up. This particular loco was named the "Thomas Jefferson". |
