Switch stand south of Hampton Avenue
Title:  Switch stand south of Hampton Avenue
Description:  This switch is obscured by leaves in the summer. The tracks run parallel to each other for a short distance before the right track bends south and west through Estabrook Park. The left track was the C&NW downtown passenger main. It ends in the woods near where the other track bends away, and the ROW is occupied by trail for the remainder of its former length.

Ex-C&NW track post-bridge replacement
Title:  Ex-C&NW track post-bridge replacement
Description:  Looking north from Jefferson Street, where a new bridge was just built to replace the 1917 C&NW structure taken out by a cement truck in 2004. The track grade is being raised and realigned slightly for a few hundred feet either side of the bridge to allow for changes to the structure and abutments. The line hasn't seen revenue train service in at least 11 years.

Title:  North Western Pride

It's in there somewhere
Title:  It's in there somewhere
Description:  One rail of the former C&NW line through Plymouth is visible in the left foreground. The other rail is buried in the grass somewhere to the right. The north-south ex-MILW line (currently used by WSOR, in the upper right) and the east-west ex-C&NW run parallel to each other for a few blocks either side of the diamond in downtown Plymouth. WSOR has recently purchased the ex-C&NW from here eastward for future access to Sheboygan.
