This loco was built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in October of 1944 and served the CN unitl retirement and scrapping in August of 1961. Beautiful action shot of Canadian National 4-8-2 #6060 heading up a fast moving passenger train near Newburg, Ontario, Canada. Built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in October of 1944, the loco was built for speed. It was retired in 1959 and placed on static display in Jasper, Alberta. She was later restored in 1980 and made several appearances around Canada & the US. It is now owned by the Rocky Mountain Rail Society at the Alberta Prairie Railway, Stettler, Alberta and runs annual excursions.
