Built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in December of 1944, this loco was built for high speed passenger service. According to a note on the back, this was train #75. Specs - serial #72773, class U-1-f, 73" drivers, impressive 260 psi boiler pressure, 24x30" cylinders, engine weight of 365,700 lb, tractive effort of 52,313 lb.
