Oil Power. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Erie, Pennsylvania, in July of 1957. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #9641, #9663, and #9643. All are EF-15A's built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #9641 was built in March of 1950 and retired in July of 1965, #9662 was built in February of 1950 and survived into the Penn Central era, while #9643 was built in March of 1950 and also survived into the PC era. MDiv. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by John Dziobko, Jr., that was taken in Duncannon, Pennsylvania, in May of 1962. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #9641, an unidentified EFS-17M, and #9509. All were built by GM-EMD. #9641 is an EF-15A built in March of 1950, rated at 1,500 horsepower, and retired in July of 1965. #9509 is an EF-15 built in April of 1948, rated at 1,500 horsepower, and retired in May of 1962. They're about to pass the Duncannon Passenger Station with a mixed-cargo freight train on their way to the Enola Yards. A minute portion of the Susquehanna River is visible at the far right.
