| Ribbon. Here is the second of six successive original photos that I took at the Passenger Station in Larchmont, New York, on 29 August 1984. Shown here are two of the men and one of the machines that are engaged in installing "ribbon rail" on this stretch of track. Visible beyond the tracks is a small portion of Interstate Highway 95; the car pictured here is traveling South toward New Rochelle and New York City. |
