Both were built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #8587 is an ES-15MS steam generator-equipped road switcher constructed in September of 1953. In this context, they're departing a station with a ten-car passenger train. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. |
