| Here is a scan of an original bond note issued by the Central Railroad and Banking company, which later became the Central of Georgia Railroad, on December 19, 1861. Note it is redeemable in Confederate dollars and the drawing of what a train would have looked like then. Note-RRP Archives system will not accept a date beyond 1900. |
