| This former Giovanlo Freres tractor was built by Kronenberg of Lucerne, Switzerland, as number 129. At 1980 the company Giovanola had to reduce it workforce from almost 2000 workers down to 350, as the big waterpipe production for the huge water dam lake projects in the Swiss mountains came to an end. As young consulting engineer I was involved in the turnaround project, which finally succeded. Some years ago Giovanola Freres closed for good and this tractor came to Kallnach. Nice to see it here again. |
