LV Station
Built in 1902 for the Lehigh Valley Railroad, this station was once the sight of the Tioga Transportation Museum, opened in 1975 as a museum with steam operations using an small 0-4-0T on a small siding adjacent to the depot commencing in 1979. It was in this location, and this small organization, that today's Tioga Central Railroad got its start. Today the Tioga Central Railroad is based in Wellsboro, PA under the operation of G&W owned Wellsboro & Corning Railroad. The small 0-4-0T is under the care of Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum of Rush, NY, which is currently restoring her back to operation. While the depot may not see passenger trains any longer, the memories are still there along with the freight trains of the Owego & Harford Railway.
