GTW 4-6-2 #5067 & CN 4-8-2 #6048  Contributor's Pick!       
Dwarfed by its bigger and newer cousin, CN #6048, the 1912 Pacific looks small and toylike in comparison to the 1929 Montreal Locomotive Works Mountain type locomotive. The #5067's spcifics - 69" drivers, 190 psi boiler pressure, 23x28" cylinders, engine weight of 226,000 lg, tractive effort of 34,669 lb. The CN 6048 specifics - Specifics - U-1-e class, 73" drivers, impressive 250 psi boiler pressure, 24x30" cylinders, engine weight of 352,720 lb, tractive effort of 50,301 lb.
