| The 555 got around....it was a regular unit in Wisconsin, used out of La Crosse, Horicon, Janesville & Madison. This train is west of South Wayne on the trip back to Janesville. Note the second car-a 5317 series RB insulated boxcar. The "Triple Nickel" would later work for the DM&E, Indiana Railroad and Progress Rail. |
