| Tipton. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train in Tipton, Pennsylvania, on 05 January 1964. Shown here (L to R) are PRR engines #5793, an unidentified E-8 unit, and #5881. All were built by EMD. #5793 is an EP-22 built in June of 1952 and rated at 2,250 horsepower. #5881 is an EP-20 built in April of 1949 and rated at 2,000 horsepower. They have just recently departed the Altoona Station with an 18-car passenger train, and are now heading to Harrisburg and points East. |
