Tipton. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train in Tipton, Pennsylvania, on 21 July 1963. Shown here are PRR engines #2508, #2528, and two EMD units whose numbers are not recorded. #2508 and #2528 are GF-25's built by General Electric in 1962 and rated at 2,500 horsepower each. They are about to pass over the grade crossing in Tipton on their way to the Enola Yards with a TrucTrain. |
