PRR 5843, EP-20, 1966         
Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, during April of 1966. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #5843 and two E-8's whose numbers are not recorded. All were built by GM-EMD. #5843 was built in August of 1947 and rated at 2,000 horsepower. In this context, they're awaiting their next passenger run to Pittsburgh and points West. ("LouisFols"; #24 of 31)
