Louisville & Nashville K-5 class 4-6-2 269 was facing north along the Mississippi River at the Bienville Street grade crossing in New Orleans. One the left was the Bienville Street Wharf while on the right was the railroad’s trainshed. The 269 had been built by Baldwin (56129) in January 1923 and was retired on 7 July 1953.
