Built by Pullman in 1949 as a 1 double bedroom, 1 compartment, 2 drawing room, buffet, lounge observation car for the Pennsylvania RR. It was originally named "Frank Thomson" after one of the PRR presidents. The car was later used as private car for a rail line owner on the Broadway Limited as it ran in and out of New York City. The car was retired in 1963 and sold to a private owner who rebuilt it into the "Louis Sockalexis" observation car. Later it was sold again ato a private owner who renamed back to "Frank Thomson" with PRR colors. |
