| UP 4004 is one of eight UP Boy Boys that remains on display to this day. It has been on display in Cheyennes Holiday Park since its retirement in early 1963, and is finally receiving a much needed cosmetic restoration. This is the third Big Boy that I have seen in person. My goal next year is to be able to get a chance to photograph the UP 4014, which is the Big Boy that is currently being restored to operating status. But for now, the giants on display will have to do. |
