| As it always is with the railroad, original plans hardly ever stay the same, and CSX decided they were going to send I007 west first before sending the I008 east. That meant I131 would get a light to proceed through Muncie, which they did. We tried to race to Selma, but stunningly, the train roared west at track speed right as we got into town. We chased it down as quick as we possibly could, but there was just no time to be able to get slightly ready for it at any location, it was just too fast. We finally got just ahead of the power to make a turn onto Lincoln St. in Muncie to pull off this shot. Id certainly be more disappointed in this shot if the SD70MACe in trail wouldve led. But were just happy we were able to get back ahead of it! |
