Here is an early photo of the Frisco oil burning 2-8-0 #1205 as it sat in the Tulso, OK yard. Buiilt by Burnham, Wms & Co (early Baldwin) in March of 1907, it first worked the subsidiaries CSNO&P and the NOTM. It was last listed on the Frisco diagram book in 3/1/1947. Specs - oil burner, 57" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 22x30" cylinders, engine weight of 198,000 lb, tractive effort of 43,300 lb. Arthur B. Johnson photo |
