| The Prague Public Transport Museum in Stesovice is definitely worth a visit if you're a railfan in Prague...or for that matter if you're just someone who likes technology, old tech at least, and isn't brainless. Most of collection can still run, and much of it is chartered and/or run on special occassions, although the trams which run "Historic" tram #91 in the summertime are a special fleet, and have things like modern pantographs and so on. Here we see #88, built in 1900, and #275, coupled to trailer #624 (out of view), built in 1908. 275 would have been one of the first trams to get the current red and cream DPP livery, as prior to 1908 the standard livery was the dark green that you can see on #88. |
