Description: |
N&W 425 is leading a westbound out of Binghamton in the winter of 1977. 425 is one of 7 ex Wabash C424's that the N&W acquired when they took over the Wabash and was retired just a few months after this picture. It then spent many years at a power plant in Missouri then was purchased by Ed Bowers. The unit now resides on the Delaware Lackawanna in Scranton, PA as their 2409. |
